The story takes place one year after the events of the first film. The Pevensie children - Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy - are transported back to the magical land of Narnia, only to find that 1,300 years have passed in Narnian time. The land is now under the tyrannical rule of King Miraz, who has murdered the true king, Caspian IX, and taken the throne for himself.
The highly anticipated sequel to the 2005 blockbuster hit, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe,” finally hit theaters in 2008. “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” is a fantasy adventure film directed by Andrew Adamson and produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media. The movie is based on the second book of “The Chronicles of Narnia” series by C.S. Lewis.
The movie introduces a new cast of characters, including Prince Caspian, played by Georgie Henley, and the Old Narnians, led by General Trufflehunter, played by Dougray Scott. The Pevensie children are once again played by William Moseley (Peter), Anna Popplewell (Susan), Skandar Keynes (Edmund), and Georgie Henley (Lucy).
