The film takes place in the year 2117, where humanity has reached the pinnacle of technological advancements. The crew of the spaceship Prometheus, led by Captain Elizabeth Shannon (Noomi Rapace), is on a mission to explore a distant planet, LV-223, in search of answers about the origins of humanity.
However, things take a dark turn when the crew discovers that the Engineers have a sinister plan for humanity, and they must fight for their lives to prevent a catastrophe.
The team, which includes scientists Dr. Robert Faris (Tom Goodman-Hill), Dr. Norma Spellman (Thandie Newton), and Dr. Bonaparte (Franco Harris), along with Lieutenant Karl Bishop (Benedict Wong), hope to find the long-lost home of humanity and uncover the secrets of their creation.
